Costco Honoring Nurses, Medical Professionals, and First Responders with $30 Shop Card

Nurses, medical professionals, and first responders are critical to keeping Americans safe and functional. 2020 has been an extremely challenging year for these groups between the COVID-19 pandemic, destructive wildfires, and a historically active hurricane season.

Costco is thanking these groups by offering a $30 Shop Card to any nurse, hospital employee, medical professional, healthcare worker, or first responder.

All you need to do to claim your Shop Card is quickly verify your status with ID.me through Costco’s shopping page when you sign up for a Costco membership. Once you get the email from Costco that shows your Membership Certificate, you can print it out and redeem the $30 gift card at any Costco location. (Note: this offer is only available for new Costco members).

Costco is known for its huge selection of groceries, electronics, and appliances, with all products available wholesale so you can buy in bulk for your family. This convenience can especially benefit those individuals who sacrifice so much to stand on the frontlines of the nation’s health, so Costco wanted to extend the $30 Shop Card to these groups to say thank you.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Costco locations are temporarily offering Priority Access for healthcare workers and first responders. Any healthcare worker, medical professional, or first responder who presents a membership card and official identification can move to the front of any line to enter the warehouse. (Note: the state of Massachusetts is not allowing healthcare workers or first responders to enter during Senior Shopping Hours).

Costco is also offering extra discounts as the holidays approach, with a wide array of discounts for 2020 Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping.

In addition to medical workers and first responders, Costco also offers a $30 Shop Card to thank the military, teachers, and government employees that dedicate themselves to service. Nurses, medical workers, and first responders can find more deals like Costco’s on ID.me Shop.
