Home Chef Continues to Honor Healthcare Workers, Military, Teachers, and First Responders with Discounts
This year, many companies are giving special thanks to the people that keep Americans safe and sound.
When the COVID-19 pandemic started, Home Chef began the Home Chef Helps initiative. In addition to donating to food banks and enabling customer donations, Home Chef created the Home Chef Heroes program to help healthcare workers, military, first responders, and teachers.
As part of the program, Home Chef is giving these groups 50% off their first order (up to $60) and another 10% off all following orders.
With frontline workers often sacrificing time and energy dealing with the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic and other natural disasters, Home Chef’s weekly meal delivery kits make food preparation much more convenient and cost-effective with pre-portioned ingredients and recipes delivered to customers’ doorsteps.
They also sport a weekly menu rotation and different recipes based on dietary preferences, available time, and skill level. Home Chef is one of the largest meal kit delivery companies in the United States, delivering over 3.5 million meals per month.
Any member of these special groups can verify their status by using the ID.me button before ordering. If you have already subscribed to Home Chef, you can still get the discount by going into the “Billing Information” page of your Home Chef dashboard.
