The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has implemented ID.me into it’s unemployment claim process. This will rapidly pass legitimate claims through, as well as catch bad actors committing fraud.

“The contract has been stipulated to verify claims filed through the federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program, following a surge in fraudulent claims detected by the department in September.”
