FLEXIBLE VACCINE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Option 1: Self-asserted
Once the identity has been verified, a COVID-19 Health Questionnaire asks a series of questions about an individual’s health status related to COVID-19.
Option 2: Document Upload
An individual uploads a CDC health card or a healthcare portal record of vaccination after identity has been verified.
Option 3: API Verification
Vaccination results are validated against an authoritative health data source (ex. a pharmacy COVID vaccination record).
INDIVIDUAL PRIVACY AND CONTROL
Individuals can release their COVID status to any organization they choose through a digital consent screen. ID.me will transmit status using open, federated protocols.
Individuals who don’t own a phone may print out a copy of their certificate with test results, and use the credential the same way as with a phone.
